Join us for a hike through imperiled Laurel Canyon, in Montauk’s Hither Woods, where East Hampton Town is proposing a 14-acre sewage treatment plant on existing parkland.  The sewer plant will promote further development on Montauk.  You will enjoy Laurel Canyon, and the winter beauty of Hither Woods.  Meet at Montauk Recycling Center parking area, north side of Rt. 27 about one mile west of Downtown Montauk.  Bring lunch & liquids.  Info only, call Rick Whalen: (631) 275-8539.
