Please join us if you can. No need to RSVP. And our regular Tuesday trail maintenance efforts will continue, as well. This coming Saturday we will be working in the Easternmost portion of the Paumanok Path. Meet on Camp Hero Road, just South off Route 27, Montauk Point State Parkway, not far from Montauk Point.

WHICH TRAIL: We will break into two teams, one to cross the Parkway and work the Paumanok Path to Ogdens Brook Bridge, and the other to work the Point Woods area, out to Old Montauk Highway.

Work will include using the DR, the mower, weed whackers and hedge trimmers, along with clippers, shears and loppers, so bring what you can. We will be reinforcing the trail blazes, too. Work gloves are recommended! Water, insect/tick repellent and a charged cell phone are good, too. If weather becomes an issue, we will send out a cancellation email to all members of our Trail Maintenance Team (those who receive our regular Tuesday maintenance emails) before 7:30am Saturday.
