This varied and diverse trail includes hiking adjacent to and views of Big Reed Pond, a Native-American village with its remains, and distinctive landscapes. Please note that in some places, these trails do have uneven terrain, rocks and roots and may be muddy.
Meet at the parking area (the dirt entrance by the Montauk County Park Big Reed Nature Trails sign) off East Lake Drive, approximately 2 miles north from the intersection of Rt. 27. Bring water and tick/insect protection.
