We will hike to Miller's Ground at the western edge of East Hampton, north of the airport. There will be abundant mountain laurel and varied knob-and-kettle topography along with a short, educational side trip to the town line. From Wainscott-Northwest Road, we will walk northwest on an unmarked trail parallel to the power line, cross over the utility right-of-way, and return southeast on a segment of the East Hampton-Sag Harbor Trail. Meet at 10 AM where the power line crosses Wainscott-Northwest Road/Daniels Hole Road, just north of the airport. Bring water and dress for the weather.
