June is the ideal time to enjoy the beauty of blossoming mountain laurels that flourish along the Redmond’s Path and Riah’s Ridge trails in Hither Woods. Meet in the parking area at the east end of Rod’s Valley Park in Montauk. Instructions: Driving east on Route 27, exit at Second House Road, which curves into Industrial Road; take the 2nd road on the left; cross over the LIRR tracks; turn left onto Navy Road to parking area.
