On Memorial Day join us for a hike and stroll through the former Camp Hero, which was from 1942 to 1981 the largest military base ever operational in East Hampton Town. This isn’t only military history. The State Parks trails in Camp Hero feature more than a half dozen bridges over the area’s numerous running brooks.
